This article will discuss the 4 tips for making your customers happy are.
You’ve been in business for as long as I have; I bet you don’t have a typical customer experience that would make the average person feel as good as you do.
How do you manage to keep customers satisfied and always come up with new ways to exceed their expectations?
I am going to share with you 4 of my secrets to making your customers feel amazing.
You’re not really listening
The people you make money from don’t really care about your problems or goals. They want to be happy, so you keep their money and avoid conflict.
Here are some things I’ve noticed and experienced.
More often than not, people say, “don’t worry about it. It’s my problem; I have to work on it.”
The only thing you should be doing is taking their calls or messages and work out what can be done to fix the problem. Don’t just sit around and complain and create a situation where you miss out on work.
You don’t understand the problem
Sure you think you do. You’ve done your research.
You have a great idea about what you think they want and need, but that is not always true.
Just because you’ve used google, eBay, or Facebook for your research does not mean you are an expert.
People don’t usually pay attention to price or similar companies. You rarely see someone complain about price when looking for a good deal.
They pay attention to if they’re being taken advantage of.
They care about value for money
What are the most common things you’d pay extra for?
- Coffee
- Cheese
- Pharmaceutical products
- Your favorite liquor
All of these things cost money. Sometimes a lot of money.
You’ve spent so much money on cheese that you don’t want to pay more for something that is not as good. It would take you a lot of time to find better cheese for the same price.
Just because a product can’t compare to another product at the same price doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t pay the same price.
Consumers don’t just want good quality for a low price. They want good quality for a good price.
Do you offer great value for your customers?
Your customer service is inferior
Maybe your customer service is excellent, but your customer satisfaction rate is low.
Maybe you have a high number of complaints that need to be resolved.
The most important thing that your customers want from you is customer service that provides help and service.
People don’t want a cold reception, rude employees, or a difficult return policy. They want someone who cares and who will help solve their problem.
Everyone wants someone who is a problem solver.
They want someone who cares and will help solve their problem.
You’re not listening
Again, you have a product that people want, but you’re not doing enough to help them.
Here are some things I’ve noticed and experienced:
- I have bought a bunch of products off of you in the past. I never had a problem.
- I have used your service in the past. I never had a problem.
- In the past, I was looking for a certain product, and you helped me find it.
- I have to admit that when I was looking for the product, I was a bit skeptical.
It’s not that you didn’t offer a great product or a great service. It’s that you didn’t listen to me.
You didn’t ask me what I needed. You didn’t take my call. You didn’t find me the product.
The most important thing that your customers want from you is that you listen to them.
People care about getting things right.
What most people really want from your business is to get it right.
- People don’t want to be unhappy.
- People don’t want to have problems or get taken advantage of.
- People want to get what they want.
People don’t want you to go out of business
What your customers really want is for you to be successful. People want to see you growing and becoming successful.
If you see lots of new customers joining your customer base, they are likely genuinely satisfied with what they are buying from you.
It doesn’t mean that the problem is with your business.
Is your shop helping a lot of customers? It means that you are growing.
It’s because you are solving problems for your customers and helping them get what they want.
At the end of the day, your goal is to get more money for your customers than you spend on wages.
Do you know what makes you a successful business?
Conclusion
Take care of your customers because your business will not run without them.
Keep this in mind: You built your business to serve people and provide them with quality products and services. You owe your success to them.
Once you establish your business, always find a way to innovate and make better product and service offerings to keep your customer’s loyalty.
